Each Sunday, 9 am to 10 am (AEDT)

From September 15, 2024, we are studying Buddhist psychology for one year, beginning with a 9-week course on the “essence” of Buddhist psychology, followed by a longer “immersion” course.
The Buddhist way of studying the psychology of the mind is called Abhidharma. This profound way of looking into and classifying the mind enables us to deepen our understanding of how consciousness operates and eventually recognize our true nature, which is beyond thoughts, emotions, and perceptions.
The basic format for each Sunday is :
opening aspirations
teachings
a guided meditation or reflection
discussion and sharing
closing dedications
REGISTRATION
There isn’t any cost to attend, though donations are warmly welcome and accepted here.
Selected online course material from Vajrayana Online is presented. While a Vajrayana Online subscription is not required, it is highly suggested for independent study along with the program. It is also needed for volunteer facilitators each week.
Email Rod McCrea if you would like to join this group or if you have any other questions.
We will communicate between sessions using Slack. Rod can send an invite to join our Tergar Australia Slack site (if you haven’t joined already) and you can visit our Buddhist-psychology channel in Slack. You can download and join Slack here.
