Dorje Drolo: The Foundational Practices with Mingyur Rinpoche - Streamed from Nepal to Australia

ONLINE

For the first time, Mingyur Rinpoche will teach the cycle of Dorje Drolö — the wrathful manifestation of Guru Rinpoche. He will teach us about the lineage and history of the cycle, and offer instructions on the foundational practices of Dorje Drolö.

For those who cannot attend the teachings in person, they will be offered online live from Nepal, however the time zone crossover can make full attendance tricky for those of us here in Australia. However, with the support of Tergar International, and in particular our group instructors Myoshin and Edwin Kelley, we are piloting a new way to deliver this retreat for those in the Australian time zone which would involve a separate Australian-time-zone friendly schedule in which you could maintain a full-day retreat/teaching schedule, receive the teachings from Rinpoche as recordings as soon as they are available, plus have a LIVE Q&A with Edwin and Myoshin, direct from Nepal, all within the same time zone.

Schedule and important notes

The retreat will begin Friday, Jun 14 at 1pm Sydney-time (AEDT) and finish at approximately 10pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The final teaching will be on Monday, June 17, beginning at 1pm and concluding at 4.45pm

If you wish to attend this retreat and follow along as closely as possible with the activities in Nepal, you will have two zoom links to use for the duration. The first link will be to attend the special Australian-streamed content - the second link will be from Tergar International. Please refer to the schedule to see what links are used when.

Each day will be a mixture of live and recorded events. In a first for a Tergar International event, since Mingyur Rinpoche’s live teachings will occur in the middle of the night in Australia, we will be replaying them as recordings the following day. Q&A sessions with Myoshin and Edwin will be Live from Nepal, as will the teachings from Khenpo Gyurme.

Important Note

While this event is unrestricted, you must receive the reading transmission from Khenpo Gyurme live (I.e, not from a recording - it can be done online though) if you wish to participate in the practice sessions. Please again refer to the schedule to see when this is occurring.

please email eventsupport@tergar.org.au if you have any questions
